How to use

• Loads a public DSA slide with mpp metadata when the network allows.
• Click the scalebar toolbar button to activate: shows the bar and opens settings (height / font / units).
• Close the settings dialog (× or Esc) to keep the bar on without the panel; click the button again to reopen settings.
• Right-click directly on the bar to reopen settings; right-clicking elsewhere leaves navigation untouched.
• While the settings dialog is open, click the toolbar button to deactivate and hide the bar.
• Zoom in/out — bar length updates to a nice physical length.
• Hosts can call show() or pass { startIn: 'showing' } for default-on chrome without opening the dialog.

Could not fetch DSA tile metadata; scalebar needs source.mpp and will stay hidden until mpp is available.
